Viktor and Rolf Beauty!:) horreure: viktor and rolf autumn/winter 1999-2000 haute couture presentation entitled “matryoshka” or “the russian doll”. the duo appeared dressing model maggie rizer, draping her with a total of nine layers of elaborately jeweled and embroidered couture pieces. after each layer had been added, rizer would stand on the pedestal which rotated giving full view to the audience. by the end of the night, she had approximately 154lbs of couture upon her body.
